Arild’s posterous

Sun, perfect conditions, my girl and I went for a wonderfull day in the mountain area close to Tromsø city. A day for training, but also relaxing, experience the quietness, thinking, feeling good.

This was an evening with the yearly board meeting. After the board meeting we had visit from a world famous alpinist. Some fantastic pictures and interesting talk, this was inspiration and motivation for the enthusiastic climbing community  in Tromsø. Tromsø have fantastic opportunities for climbing in the surrounding  mountains. I was elected for one more year as a leader in the Tromsø climbing club. I am proved to be a leader in this club with a rich history and a club that today have climbers that compete internationally.

Wonderfull winter weather, and nice conditions on the cycling roads. This is “the cycling to work” days you remember.

One of his basic for his work the last year has been a list he has been making about what makes him happy in life. Things as : -Complaining is silly, either act or forget. –>Money does not makes me happy –>Helping other people helps me and more ..

In inspiration tonight, things that I have learned so far in my life:  ->Powder skiing makes me happy. ->I love a girl friend that can cook. ->Norway is a small country. ->Speaking Russian is difficult. ->Exploring my creativity have expand my view on life.  To be continued…

I was skiing instructor last night, in the city close skiing center. We had a wonderfull night, ski loving people, clear skies and some northern light over our city.

Lyngen are just a 1,5 hour drive north of Tromsø city. I am my self going to be guide in Lyngen one weekend in march for midnight sun mountain guides and the FRI FLYT camp.  Skiing in this mountain areas around Tromsø, Lyngen and Kvaløya are world class skiing experiences.
